Embedded System Design

The course focuses on microcontroller hardware and software integration for embedded control applications. The architecture, programming, and interfacing of Microchip PIC16F88 microcontroller are studied. Interconnection of components, peripheral devices, C language programming, debugging, input/output techniques, and use of PC-based software development tools are studied. Prerequisite: C or C++ programming background is needed. Permission of instructor required.
