Information for Recruiters

The Computer and Information Technology Department can help you find qualified summer interns, co-ops, or your next employees.

Career Fairs

Purdue Information Technology Professionals (PITP) and Purdue Polytechnic’s Department of Computer and Information Technology (CIT) hosts an annual Purdue Computing Career Fair for all computing students every September on campus. This fair provides a great opportunity to recruit students in the following areas:

  • Computer and Information Technology
  • Computing Infrastructure and Network Engineering Technology
  • Computing Systems Analysis and Design
  • Cybersecurity
  • Data Analytics, Technologies and Applications

Purdue Polytechnic also hosts a college-wide career fair each spring. The fair provides employers with a great opportunity to target students with specific skills and academic backgrounds.

Job & Internship Postings

Send job and internship openings to the CIT Industry Engagement Specialist to be included in student announcements, posted on bulletin boards, social media and the CIT Student Brightspace content.

We also encourage you to post your open positions through the Purdue Center for Career Opportunities (CCO) to reach all students and alumni. Companies must register with the CCO, but this is a free service. See the CCO website for more information.

To get registered, post positions, order a resume book, and much more:

Campus & class visits

We encourage our industry partners to visit campus and meet with students face to face. A campus visit could include a table set in our Knoy building atrium to meet with students; a class visit (depending on faculty availability); an option to host an information session during lunch, after class or with a CIT student organization. Please contact our CIT Industry Engagement Specialist to learn more and plan your visit.

The Purdue Polytechnic Institute can help you find qualified summer interns, co-ops, or your next employees.
