Learning is more successful when it’s in context, for a purpose, and connected to one’s values and aspirations. For today’s thinking economy in which access to knowledge is ubiquitous, students need to become lifelong learners, able to adapt to constant change and to solve complex problems.
For 2014-2015, our first year, we are developing new ways to learn. We aim to create a small-team "learn by doing" environment and practical project-oriented experience.

College transformation supported by Lilly Endowment Inc. February 18, 2015. The College of Technology is sharing in the largest cash grant to Purdue University, officials announced during a special presentation on campus today (Feb. 18). Lilly Endowment Inc. announced a grant of $40 million for five transformational projects in the colleges of Technology and Engineering as well as Purdue Libraries. For the College of the Technology, the grant will be a catalyst for its transformation through the Polytechnic initiative. Continues here.
