College of Technology, Anderson commencement set for May 17

Purdue University College of Technology, Anderson will award degrees during spring commencement at the Flagship Enterprise Center, 2705 Enterprise Drive, Anderson, IN 46013 on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m.

The Class of 2014 consists of 10 graduates; seven will participate in the ceremony.

Ren Levi Copeland, who will receive a bachelor's degree in engineering technology, will provide the student response. He is from Greenfield and is a graduate of Greenfield Central High School. Andrew Robert Ebbert of Pendleton also will receive his bachelor’s degree in engineering technology.

The following 2014 graduates will receive a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and supervision: Angela Sue Dailey, Anderson; Chanda Linette George Hiatt, Summitville; Matthew C. Pulley, Noblesville; Jeramy Lane Romine, Noblesville; Kellen Anne Stout, Fortville; Sheryl L. Thayer, Pendleton; and Everett Wade Waymire, Anderson.

Melvin Andrew Denton, Anderson, who received his associate degree in electrical engineering technology in December 2013, will participate in the ceremony as well.

Andy Schaffer, associate dean of Purdue University College of Technology, Statewide, will speak at the ceremony. Dean DeVoe, a 1972 graduate of the Purdue Krannert School of Management with a degree in business economics, will perform the alumni induction.

Family and friends should arrive at the Flagship conference area at 10:30 a.m. A cake and punch reception will follow commencement.
