Five receive January Good to Great awards

Five College of Technology faculty and staff were recognized by Dean Gary Bertoline January 6 as the most recent recipients of the Good to Great award. Recipients were:

  • Michael Kane, Lonnie Bentley and Tony Smith for their success launching their company, BATS, based on technology they invented. Bentley is a professor and Kane and Smith are associate professors in the Department of Computer and Information Technology.
  • Don Buskirk for his leadership in developing the College of Technology's globalization initiatives.
  • Mike Jacob, the G.W. McNelly Distinguished Professor of Technology, for his individual efforts to recruit and retain diverse students and faculty to his department.
