To welcome his new colleague, Andrew Takami gave Indiana University Southeast Chancellor Ray Wallace a symbol of friendly rivalry — a plush Purdue fish swallowing a plush IU fish.
All kidding aside, Ray Wallace said he’s happy he can joke around with Takami, director of the Purdue College of Technology in New Albany. At a welcome ceremony for Wallace at Purdue, he said they’ll have to do more than just get along, they’ll forge partnerships with each other and the community at large.
