Students to present research at InWIC conference

Twelve women from Purdue University will attend the 2012 Indiana Celebration of Women in Computing (InWIC) Feb. 9-10 at McCormick's Creek State Park in Spencer, Ind. The conference brings together people from industry and Indiana academic institutions. The Purdue group includes nine undergraduate students; one graduate student; and two faculty, Alka Harriger and Dawn Laux, both of whom are from the Department of Computer and Information Technology (CIT). Five of the students are in the College of Technology, and all of them will present their research during a poster session.
