New partnership connects K-12 students to manufacturing and future teachers to industry

A unique partnership is helping get kids interested in robotics, manufacturing and programming while creating a pipeline of future talent for manufacturers in the Wabash Heartland Region. It’s also providing students in Purdue Polytechnic’s engineering/technology teacher education major with industry experience.

Warfare Systems Engineering & Technology graduate program coming to NSWC Crane

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) announced a new master's degree program in Expeditionary Warfare Systems Engineering and Technology will be offered at the WestGate Academy Conference and Training Center in Crane, Indiana, home of courses, seminars, and workshops offered by Purdue Polytechnic.

Administrative appointments, Feb. 2013

James Mohler, Ph.D., has been appointed associate dean for academic affairs and diversity for the College of Technology. He had been serving in the position on an interim basis since the fall of 2011. He is also a professor of computer graphics technology. He earned his bachelor's degree in technical graphics, his master of science in technology and his doctorate in education, all from Purdue University.
