Two win construction scholarships

Two students in the building construction management program have received scholarships from MCA (Mechanical Contractors Association) Chicago. Justin Burkhardt of LaGrange, Ind., is the first recipient of the Jim McCauley Sr. Student Scholarship, worth $2,500. Available to MCA student members from Purdue University and Illinois State University, the scholarship is for students who exhibit a strong interest in mechanical contracting and excellence in his or her studies and extracurricular activities. Michael Bocian of Willow Springs, Ill., received the $2,500 Herb Kriesman Scholarship, awarded to Purdue students active in the student MCA chapter and enrolled in the mechanical construction management specialization.
