If you are unsure which department is the right place to start, you can email James L. Mohler, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and he can assist you with finding the right department.

Posting Internships

Finding Coop Students

If you or your company would like to develop a coop program, you can do so directly by working with our University Coop Office or connecting with our CoT Coop Director, Dr. Craig Miller. Information about existing Coop opportunities for students is provided on each degree page under Advising.

Campus Interviews

Often companies inquire about conducting interviews on the West Lafayette campus. Companies can work directly with departments to set up days on campus and utilize facilities within the college to meet with our students. While these events require sufficient lead time to set up, companies interested in discussing possibilities may contact any of the departmental placement coordinators or Associate Dean James Mohler.

Participating in Job Fairs

While there are several job fairs on campus, our premier job fair in the College of Technology is in the early spring,  the CoT Career Fair. If you have questions or would like to participate, you may contact Ms. Devona Gangwer for more information.

Engaging Students In Real World Projects

Many of our classes and departments include real world projects for senior design classes. As well, many of our students are involved in applied research that is comprised of solving problems for companies and executing solutions (prototype or otherwise) that companies may not have time to focus on themselves. These sorts of projects are perfect for students or student groups to work on over a period of a semester or more. If you are interested in connecting with a department and working with students on such projects, contact Dr. Robert Cox, Associate Dean for Globalization and Engagement and he can direct you to the right people and departments.
