Smart Manufacturing Operational And Information Networks

Credit Hours: 3.00.  This course examines the concepts, devices, and common practices associated with modern industrial communication systems and networks. Network devices, intelligent sensors, operations software and controls components are presented. Students learn how connect and provision devices, establish communications between devices and databases, and configure systems for reliable and secure operation. Industrial standards, practices and safety are emphasized throughout the course.
