Krimson Aviation announces Purdue diversity scholarship for aviation, management

Dawit Lemma, founder and CEO of Krimson Aviation and a 2002 graduate from Purdue’s aeronautical engineering technology and flight technology programs, launched the $100,000 Krimson Aviation Scholarship and the Krimson Business Opportunity Program Scholarship for students from minority groups under-represented in aviation.

Purdue aviation experts collaborate with industry to address critical shortage of pilots and aviation maintenance technicians

Purdue’s School of Aviation and Transportation Technology has created the Purdue University National Aviation Symposium – Emerging Critical Shortages of Pilots and Maintenance Technicians, a three-day symposium in the fall of 2022 to identify and mitigate challenges to creating a sufficient pool of qualified pilots and technicians. The symposium will feature Stephen Dickson, the administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
