Project Engineer for Power Construction

Describe your potential job duties

I will be responsible for submittals, RFIs, procurement, subcontractor coordination, field questions and resolving problems, meeting minutes, etc.

Who would you like to thank as you finish your time at Purdue and start your career?

Both of my parents for encouraging me in my journey to Purdue and giving me wisdom and advice in their own experience in our industry. Brad Benhart for being an amazing professor and a reliable person in my time in the CMT program. He has always provided a listening ear, wisdom, and important insight on our future careers. I would also like to thank my future employer, Power Construction, for all the great people I have met.

What specific classes helped prepare you for your new job?

CM 400, our construction capstone. Doing our Request For Proposal project as a part of our capstone was very useful and tested my abilities to retain certain information, and to ask the right questions to our professors.

If you had a favorite class, project, experience, or professor, what/who was it, and why?

Brad Benhart has been my favorite professor in our program. He has shared so much knowledge and wisdom and his passion for teaching and our industry is very encouraging.
