​Purdue’s Global Academic Committee selected Purdue Polytechnic’s John Sheffield as a 2022 Outstanding Leader in Globalization.

Purdue Polytechnic’s Abrar Hammoud received the Award for Academic Integration of Steps to Leaps, which recognizes an educator who has woven Steps to Leaps into her pedagogy.

Kathryn Seigfried-Spellar, associate professor of computer and information technology, has been selected as a Fulbright Scholar for her work in cybersecurity — specifically, for her upcoming research that will analyze the criminological differences and online grooming strategies of child sexual exploitation offenders in Spain, train Spanish law enforcement officers, and conduct community safety seminars.

Paul Parsons, assistant professor of computer graphics technology, earned the National Science Foundation’s Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) award. He is the first CAREER awardee in Purdue Polytechnic's Department of Computer Graphics Technology.

Carrie Berger, Purdue Polytechnic’s interim dean, executive associate dean for research and strategic initiatives, and a clinical professor, has received the 2021 Leadership in Action Award from Purdue’s Susan Bulkeley Butler Center for Leadership Excellence.

Purdue Polytechnic’s Mark French was named one of Purdue’s first 150th Anniversary Professors, which recognizes faculty who have shown the highest levels of achievement in Purdue’s mission of education.

Purdue Polytechnic’s Rustin Webster has received three awards for excellence in the classroom, including national recognition from the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) and two Purdue awards.

Purdue Polytechnic instructors in the School of Construction Management Technology found innovative ways to teach the business of construction management to Purdue students during the pandemic. Their creative tactics included video classes, virtual presentations and cross-departmental collaborations, which earned them Purdue’s award for Exceptional Teaching and Instructional Support.

Purdue Polytechnic’s Robert Nawrocki received the 2021 Young Investigator Award from the Office of Naval Research (ONR), an executive branch agency within the Department of Defense.

Zachary Marshall, a senior who double-majored in aeronautical and astronautical engineering and aerospace financial analysis, was selected to receive the G.A. Ross Award. The award is given to the University’s outstanding graduating senior man who demonstrates high standards of academic achievement, outstanding leadership, strength of character and contribution to Purdue.
